Brazillian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ) is a martial art and self-defense system that emphasizes grappling and ground fighting techniques. BJJ is a derivative of Judo and was developed in Brazil by the Gracie family in the early 20th century.

Dr. Károly István Varga is a Hungarian competitor in BJJ who has achieved notable success in the sport. In 2022, he won the XVII. Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Hungarian Open and became the English champion in his category. He also won the British Grand Prix alongside his son, István András Varga.

The British Open is one of the largest and most prestigious BJJ tournaments in the UK. The British Grand Prix is a BJJ event with added excitement and cash prizes for the absolute winners. This event has grown larger each year and is one of the top BJJ tournaments in the UK.

István and András’ goals are to compete at the highest levels of the sport. István hopes to fight Tom Hardy and win the European Championship, while András aims to become a world champion in BJJ.
